When I first saw this tattoo posted, I thought that Aviation Blogger extraordinaire Stephen Force of Airspeed may have had a portrait of his “hero” look from a recent ride with the Thunderbirds permanantly added…
But alas, it was a chap from England who had this classic fighter pilot image added it his dermis. Kudos to the folks at Sharpside Tattoo Studio, Seaford Sussex, England for the tattoo!

Too cool! If I ever get one, it’ll be “N918TA” and “14 July 2001.” I carry a picture of the left empannage of that aircraft (to scale so the tail number can be traced accurately for transfer)around in my wallet in case I’m ever drunk enough, near a tattoo place, and thinking that it seems like a good idea. Just in case.
