Paper Airplane Tattoo Tattoos In Flight Jason Sweet Freaks and Geeks TattooWe all remember our dreams of flight as a kid, when we took the sheet of lined filler paper and made our first attempt at a paper airplane with it.  Unfortunately many of us failed to take into account such concepts as center of gravity and the fast that there were two huge holes in the wing for the binder rings!

Artist Jason Sweet of Freaks and Geeks Tattoo Studio of Fullerton, CA playfully placed a permanent picture of a paper plane on a passionate person — how’s that for alliteration!

Pop Art Airplane Tattoo Fighter Tattoos In Flight Scot Winskye Small

We’re continuing with the light postings this weekend with this fun pop-art prop-driven fighter plane etched on the inside wrist by artist Scot Winskye of Inkwell Tattoo in La Grange, KY.

I particularly like the clean, thick lines Scot uses to outline the piece — making the tattoo stand out well.  See, small tattoos can have just as much visual impact as big ones! 

And are a bit less painful to boot!
